Our short film shows a dream – a bad one to be precise, a so-called nightmare: A young man wakes up dressed in a bathtub. Total confusion. Blood. Panic. Love and Revenge. You’ll find all of it. On the cover of books or movies you can often find promising quotes. We wondered what quotes could be made about our short film and thought these following two quotes would be suitable: “Bewildering, thrilling, sophisticated, somewhat nauseating – maybe indescribable would be a better description.” “A more literally than figuratively heartbreaking story.” Is there a message in our short film? – We’ll leave the interpretation to the viewer.

How could you describe our place? What is a dream like? And what exactly is dreaming anyway? – This question may seem ridiculous at first. Could you explain it in words though? “It’s that thing you do at night while you’re asleep.“ Although you can’t say that answer is wrong, there has to be a better one, like some scientific definition – you would think! The fact is, scientists do not fully understand the content and purpose of dreams yet. What we do know, however, is that dreams know no limits. A dream is like a place where everything is possible. What would be deemed obviously surreal and delirious in the awake state, may suddenly be perceived as reality. Sometimes you’ll wish they become real, sometimes you’ll be relieved it was just a dream. So basically, what characterises our place, the place of dreaming, is that it’s unpredictable, limitless and without consequences. And that’s the beauty of it! In a world where everything is so thoroughly planned and controlled, dreaming offers a nice change, a break from your everyday life, an adventure.

L'adolescent aime voir les gens heureux et va redonner le sourire et la joie de vivre à plusieurs personnes.. J'ai du baisser le format d'image et la qualité, car le court-métrage fait plus de 9 minutes et nous ne pouvons pas soumettre un fichier de plus de 128 mo.

In questo luogo si diverte, si trova bene, può fantasticare ed immaginare, lasciandosi andare passa del tempo con se stessa e si ritrova. In questo luogo le fantasie diventano realtà per lei. È l'esempio di un luogo che ognuno dovrebbe avere, un posto speciale che ti permette di ritrovare te stesso.
